GALILEO YACHT - ARKONA - KEREON

GALILEO YACHT is a very fast moving shipyard with head offices in Geneva, a design office in Cannes and a shipyard in Marocco. GALILEO YACHT was launched in 2003 by Luc Simon a naval architect. It's a part of the Simon Group which combines a brokerarge company Team Boat, an innovation and technological company Team Innovation, a design company Team Creation, a construction and refit company Team industry, and Naval architecture Gallileo Yachts. GALILEO YACHTS designs and builts, sail and power catamarans, but also monohulls.

Two ranges of sailing catamarans are available : Arkona and Kereon. An Arkona 67 is currently in production (9 other power yachts have been sold) in Kenitra (Marocco). This first unit will feature 4 double cabines and a huge salon with a great 360 degrees view on the sea. An electrical diesel engine will provide plenty of energy for living confort aboard with very little noise while motoring.

Let's write about the Arkona range (from 67 to 130 feet). The Arkona's can be built in Epoxy carbon composite or Selium (a kind of Aluminium developped by Pechiney). The Arkonas feature a very high tech design and are strongly built for high seas crusing. Very comfortable, the leaving space aboard is as open to the sea as possible so you can enjoy the environnent. Performances also are important to Luc Simon, using light and strong materials, with a full batten mainsail, a furling jib and very high quality chandelry, the Arkonas are fast. We look forward to see the first Arkona in the water.
