THE FIRST LAGOON 620 WITH A CENTRAL GALLEY
Lagoon has launched its first 620 with a galley on the platform.
The standard galley used to be available only in the port hull. With this new version the galley moves up and leaves enough room for a huge owner suite with a private access to the cockpit as well as a truckle bed cabin at midship.
The galley is close to the salon table and the cockpit, and benefits from the 360 degree view on the outside which I think is nicer specially for the cook and the hostess.
This nice layout is available in 5 or 6 cabins version.

NAUTIC 2010 THE LUXURY CATAMARAN BUILDERS AT THE PARIS BOAT SHOW

CANNES BOAT SHOW UPDATE
The Cannes International boat show starts next week. Here is an update of the luxury catamarans docked at the show.
AMBERCAT 210 : This fast catamaran designed by Eric Lerouge and built in Latvia will be exhibited for the first time in Cannes.
CATANA 65 : CATANA will display 4 cats this year including the CATANA 65. Designed by Christophe Barreau and Frederic Neuman, the CATANA 65 was launched in Cannes two years ago. There is a nice virtual tour on CATANA's website.
GALATHEA 65: Designed by Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design with an interior by Jean Jacques Coste, the flagship of the Fountaine Pajot range was launched last year in Cannes.
LAGOON 620 : The flagship of the Lagoon range designed by VPLP with an interior by Couedel Hugon Design has been sold to more than 15 units.
SUNREEF 70 POWER : The successful SUNREEF 70 Power will be exhibit at the same spot as last year. This will be the only large
SUNREEF 102 DD : The largest catamaran of the show. This amazing unit, built by Sunreef yachts will be exhibited for the first time. It is also the first double deck catamaran ever finished and launched.

LAGOON 620 - TREND SETTER
The new, awaited LAGOON 620, was lauched last month. It is a great looking cat specially from inside. Let's have a look at the beautiful pictures by Nicolas Claris.
The LAGOON 620 is built with the infusion process. Lagoon has a lot of experience in this building technique. This should guarantee not only stiffness and quality but also a very reasonable weight to length ration and good sailing performance. The design is by famous VPLP, the designer of the Lagoon Range.
The most amazing feature is the space on the boat both outside and inside. Outside, the flybridge is huge and hosts two steering stations for a better view on the sea, which is a first on a catamaran of that size (if I am not mistaken). 
You can relaxe on the fly, on the trampoline, in between the transoms, in the cockpit, or on the huge safo in the salon, so there are lots of places to get some privacy.
The interior is designed by famous multi-awarded designer studio couedel-hugon yacht design and it is a great success. The interior is very clear and uncluttered. Lots of light inside through the large French sliding window and the huges portholes. The kitchen is generous and fully equipped with a double access to the salon or directly on the transom which will be great for the crew to serve the guests.
The LAGOON 620 is a great charter boat for a crew. The owner suite in the 3 cabins version is huge since it takes all of the starboard hull and has a private and direct access to the transom (like the kitchen on the other side). The beds are large, comfortable island beds.
The LAGOON 620 is available in a owners version with 3 or 4 cabins and in a charter version with 5.
The LAGOON 620 will be exibited at the September Boat Shows of Cannes, Southpamton, and the ISWA.

LAGOON 620 - A 3D VIDEO
Designed by VPLP, this new Lagoon will be launched this year. A few units have already been sold. Built in infusion, this new lagoon will be easy to sail by a couple and yet performance orientated and comfortable. Lots of light inside thanks to large portholes around the salon and in the aft starboard cabin. This new flagship of the successful Lagoon range should be launched in June.
