As you can see on the video it looks really powerful and stable even with the strong wind blowing and sharp waves. This expedition luxury catamaran is equipped with the Cummins Zeus pod Drives technology. I am looking forward to see the interior finished and follow the first voyage of this amazing expedition catamaran.

TRAWLER AND EXPEDITION CATAMARANS - A QUICK REVIEW
Back to motor yachts with this short review of available trawler and expedition catamarans, launched and projects. It took a long time for this market to pick up but it seems a larger offer is now available.
I have already introduced the NOAH 88 and 76, called "exploration catamarans". This great looking cat has been designed byVPLP with a very original interior and deck layout with a lot of space. An another interesting point for this projects is the autonomy motoring 3000 nautical miles. For a more complete information The power and motor yacht article about Noah 76 and Noah 86 by George L Petrie, very complete.
This is the new TRAWLIVARIUS 80 by the Prometa Boat System located in the south of France. The TRAWLIVARIUS has an enormous range of 4000 miles going 11 knots. Built in strong aluminium by an experienced shipyard, it can carry an automatic kite surf release system to save even more energy. This kite system is marketed by SkySails which already equips cargos. The designer Michel Joubert is well know in FRANCE for designing strong ocean going yachts.
I have already introduced the Pacific Expedition range in a previous post. This is really the type of the strong ocean going, semi displacement hulls, built by a team who knows what rough seas mean. A yard with 20 years experience in boat building.
