SUNREEF SCORES 3 NEW LUXUCATAMARANS 80 FEET AND ABOVE

The first contract was the Sunreef 82 Double Deck sold to a Client in the Middle East. It will be the second unit of Sunreef 82 Double Deck after last year’s HOUBARA. In the double deck concept there is one spacious owner cabin in the front and a large, bright salon with an internal helm station enjoying sea views. The impressive 64 m2 cockpit holds a large dining table for up to 8 guests, sunbathing mats, wicker armchairs and storage for diving equipment. This will be the first yacht in the world with a folding mast shortening it 10 m, so that it can easily go under the bridge leading to the Owner’s property. This yacht is due to be launched in December 2013. Thanks to their spaciousness and comfort, Double Deck catamarans are a perfect alternative for a traditional mega yacht with its greener character offered by cruising on sails.

Second in order is the 90 Sunreef Power, a true milestone in luxury catamaran design. The main idea behind the concept is to stress the superb space offered by catamarans thanks to their large beam, and to arrange this space in a similar way to motor yachts. On a 90 feet yacht no less than 522 sqm will be available for the owner’s enchantment, this is something that one could never have on a regular motor yacht. This means a single large main deck spanning the entire beam, housing dining and lounging areas in both the exterior aft deck and inside the saloon to create a seamless, open space. The generously-sized master cabin is located in the front on the same level with its study area, walk-in wardrobe, private ensuite bathroom, etc. The flybridge will include the helm station and two lounge areas (inside and outside), while the intimate terrace at the front of the main deck will comprise a jet ski with its crane and sun pads. An interesting feature is a beach club on the aft, created thanks to a special platform which gives access to all numerous water toys in the aft garage. Finished in cozy, warm interior design featuring only natural materials, this power mega yacht will operate in Thailand and will be delivered in the beginning of 2015.

The third sale is the second unit of the Sunreef 80 Carbon Line, a superb sailing catamaran with the concept based on light displacement of 45 tones, performance and speed. It will made of an advanced composite sandwich combining vinylester, PVC foam and carbon/glass fiber, with a carbon mast and boom. First unit of this model was just launched at the shipyard and already gained a lot of attention from the clients. The second unit is expected to launch in May 2014. Purchased by an American client, looking for his perfect carbon-made, performance yacht for the last two years all around the world before placing the order at Sunreef. The new Sunreef 80 will feature a beautiful master cabin on the main deck and a sophisticated navcom system.

Sunreef Yachts with its in-house design team will be present during the upcoming prestigious Monaco Yacht Show held between 25 - 28th of September 2013. You are welcome to visit our stand located in DARSE NORD, booth QD27. Besides these three new superyachts underway, the company will promote its new projects with mega trimaran 210 and a new 165 ft super sailing catamaran

Sunreef Yachts Announces Spectacular Presence at the Cannes International Boat Show 2013

Established in 2002 by Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts has consequently grown to its current, strong position of the leading designer and builder of luxury sailing and power catamarans and catamaran-superyachts from 60 to 200 feet in the world.

In 2013 Sunreef Yachts will have no less than 6 yachts, the first ever such important Sunreef yachts gathering, on display with 2 world premieres: the superyacht Sunreef 80 Sailing LEVANTE and a new concept of a sailing catamaran, Sunreef 60 LOFT.

The new Sunreef 80 Sailing is a concept based on light displacement, performance and speed. Commissioned by a European owner, the Sunreef 80 is made of an advanced composite sandwich combining vinylester, PVC foam and carbon/glass fibre, with a carbon mast and boom, standing rigging with Kevlar and total sail area of 340 m², weighing just 45T lightship and 60T fully loaded. The sleek and sporty exterior line was designed carefully to reduce windage and water resistance.

The 2nd world premiere is the new concept of 60 footer, the Sunreef 60 LOFT, a ready- to- sail, luxury yacht with comfortable accommodation for 6 guests. Fully equipped open galley with both Siemens and Gorenje appliances is located in the portside hull, directly connected with the saloon. The cockpit and the saloon are both located on the same level and connected with a large sliding door which enhances the impression of one, seamless space. Actually two units of this new concept have already been sold, only two months after its presentation in spring this year.

In addition, the shipyard will exhibit its first poweryacht, the 60 Sunreef Power LILU YACHT equipped with the innovative IPS system allowing this imposing yacht easy maneuvering in tide marinas and side docking. Moreover, the system helps to be even more efficient on the fuel consumption side and increases maximum speed adding 2 knots.

Fourth yacht on display was launched in April 2013. The Sunreef 70 MAVERICK is the 12th unit of an extremely popular Sunreef 70 Sailing. Distinctively different, this superb modern catamaran features an ultra-sleek profile, flawless interior design, exceptional amenities, and the latest in entertainment technology.

Another big presence will be ensured by the superyacht HOUBARA. The Sunreef 82 Double Deck will be again the biggest unit on Sunreef Yachts display this year. Presented last year in Cannes, HOUBARA accommodates up to 7 guests in one beam-wide owner suite, one VIP queen cabin and one guest twin cabin convertible to a double cabin with an additional Pullman bed, attended by two crew.

On the power side, besides the 60 Sunreef Power, Sunreef will showcase again its extremely popular 70 Sunreef introduced in 2008. This yacht model attracts many motoryacht enthusiasts thanks to its stability and subsequently the comfort in cruising, an extended living and storage space thanks to its large beam, superb exterior space, and oceanic range combined with very low fuel consumption and all that in keeping with Sunreef’s customized design.

Both of them MAVERICK and LEVANTE are available for charters with Sunreef Yachts Charter.

The shipyard will also introduce more its new projects underway, the 90 Sunreef Power, the Trimaran 210 and the new sailing superyacht of 165ft.

SUPERYACHT LUXURY CATAMARAN SUNREEF 82 DD LAUNCHED

We are delighted to announce that the Sunreef 82 Double Deck has just been launched at the Sunreef Yachts shipyard in Gdansk, Poland.

The timeless stylish look of the hull line is the result of Sunreef’s advanced design technologies and ongoing research into new solutions and inspirations. This superb superyacht accommodates 7 guests and 2-3 crew, and she is intended for private use only. In the double deck, there is a spacious owner cabin in the front and a large, bright saloon featuring an internal helm station with sea views. This makes the model a perfect alternative to traditional motoryachts which consume very high amounts of fuel. The Sunreef 82 demonstrates that catamarans could easily become the superyachts of the future with their high comfort onboard and low fuel consumption resulting from low draught and the option of cruising under sails while maintaining maximum stability at all times. The yacht will now undergo final fitting out, and she will sail to the South of France to take part in the Cannes International Boat Show in September 2012.

Sunreef Yachts explores superyacht segment with three new 80+ luxury catamarans

After the successful launch of the two catamaran-superyachts over 100 feet, CHE and IPHARRA, in 2010, Sunreef Yachts keeps developing large projects with and for its clients. Within the next two weeks the shipyard will launch the new model, the Sunreef 82 Double Deck starting a series of 80ft composite superyachts. The next one to be launched is the Sunreef 80 Single Deck scheduled for March 2013. And finally, the new project of an 85ft motoryacht catamaran, the 85 Sunreef Power, has just been developed by the Sunreefs in-house design office and should be completed by the end of 2013.

Sunreef 82 Double Deck

The everlasting stylish look of the Sunreef 82 Double Deck is the result of Sunreef’s advanced design technologies and ongoing research into new solutions and inspirations. In the double deck concept there is one spacious owner cabin in the front, and a large and bright salon with an internal helm station with sea views. That is why this model is a perfect alternative to a traditional motoryacht which consumes tremendous amounts of fuel. The Double Deck catamarans have a chance to become superyachts of the future with their comfort on board and low fuel consumption resulting from its low draft and the possibility of cruising on sails in keeping with the maximum stability at all times.
This private yacht accommodates up to
7 guests in one beam-wide owner suite, one VIP queen cabin and one guest twin cabin convertible to a double cabin with an additional Pullman bed, attended by two crew to assist the owner, a sailor himself.
An innovative element aboard the Sunreef 82 DD is the smart mezzanine floor housing a coffee table within a lounge area located on the starboard side of the main deck within the dining area. There is also a purpose-built storage area for painting equipment, as the owners enjoy this activity while sailing. The owner suite, arranged over two floors, is set to occupy the entire forward section of the yacht with a master cabin, Jacuzzi and vanity on the main deck, and wardrobe and floor-to-ceiling storage and bathroom located below decks in port and starboard hulls
respectively. Guest cabins are generously sized with three way access to a queen size bed with spectacular sea views through 6-part large windows, and have a separate bathroom and shower, spacious wardrobe, several lockers, a compre- hensive entertainment system and air conditioning. Interior design has been customised following the owners’ suggestions, and combines light and natural colours and materials finished in a classic style. The impressive 64 m2 cockpit holds a large dining table for up to 8 guests, sunbathing mats, wicker arm- chairs, a flower area, and storage for diving equipment. The spacious flybridge is fitted with the main helm station, bar with barbecue and ice maker, large dining table and comfortable deckchairs, as well as a coffee table.

Sunreef 80 Single Deck

The Sunreef 80 Single Deck is a dramatically different concept than S82DD, based on light displacement, performance and speed. The Sunreef 80 is intended for owners who wish to enjoy fast sailing adventures without giving up the comfort and fully customized interiors. Commissioned by a European owner, the Sunreef 80 will be made of an advanced composite sandwich combining epoxy-vinylester resin, PVC foam, glass fibre with carbon reinforcement for the hulls and carbon fibre for the deck and the superstructure, with a carbon mast and boom, standing rigging with Kevlar and
total sail area of 340 m2, weighing just 45T lightship and 60T fully loaded. Sunreef’s engineering office produced a special weighing platform that will register all additional weight of the boat. All systems will also be optimized to minimize their weight. The sleek and sporty exterior line was designed carefully to reduce windage and water resistance. The yacht is designed to comfortably accommodate 9 guests and 4 crew. The portside hull will comprise one guest cabin with a bathroom, a fully equipped galley and 4 crew cabins. The starboard hull will feature one guest and one children’s cabin, both
with private en-suite bathrooms, and the owner’s dressing room and bathroom directly accessible from the master suite on the main deck. For the first time on a Sunreef single deck catamaran, the owner suite (17m2) will be located on the main deck. This means that the internal cockpit will include the navigation station, dining area, lounge zone and the owner suite on the front starboard. The interior design will represent a modern and minimalist style based on white and grey with touches of a fresh blend of strong, modern colours.

85 Sunreef Power NEW DESIGN 2013

After having introduced the very successful 70 Sunreef Power in 2008, the company is now introducing a Brand New concept of a power superyacht with the 85 Sunreef Power, being another milestone in the luxury catamaran design. The main idea of the concept is to stress the superb space that catamarans offer thanks to their large beam and to arrange this space in the similar way as on motoryachts. This means one huge main deck spanning the entire beam and housing dining and lounging areas, in both exterior aft deck and inside the saloon that all together create a seamless, open space. The generously sized master cabin is located
in the front on the same level. The flybridge will include helm station and two lounging areas (inside and outside) while the frontal intimate terrace on the main deck will comprise Jacuzzi and sun pads. Guest cabins with private bathrooms and crew quarters with direct access to the galley and storage will be located within the hulls. This space arrangement will certainly please the very demanding motoryacht clientele that can now enjoy their favorite motoryacht design and layout combined with catamaran advantages such as stability, extended living and storage space, comfort of cruising, low draft, low fuel consumption and oceanic range.
Design wise, the 85 Sunreef Power is a modern looking, streamlined vessel with a curvy line that makes it look like a truly sporty motoryacht. Interior design is meant to be light and minimalist with modular furniture on the main deck and on the flybridge allowing many configurations whereas the built-in furniture one will be installed only within the hulls. On the aft, an interesting solution was found to create a beach club platform, typical for motoryachts. This platform will allow guests to stay down by the sea level at anchor and at lower speeds and will make easy accessing all water toys and tender stored in the aft dinghy garage.

SUNREEF AT THE CANNES INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW - NEW BOATS

Gdansk, Poland – As every year, Sunreef Yachts will display its much-awaited news during the prestigious Cannes Boat Show in September 2012.

Celebrating its 10 years, the company will showcase two new Premiere Models: the 60 Sunreef Power EWHALA and the superyacht Sunreef 82 Double Deck HOUBARA. In addition, two famous and appreciated models: the 70 Sunreef Power SKYLARK (2012) and the Sunreef 70 Sailing ANINI (2011) will be exhibited as well, which means 4 yachts all together. That is the biggest yacht display for Sunreef Yachts in its history.

60 Sunreef Power - EWHALA

The 60 Sunreef Power was made in response to the growing demand for compact yet highly impressive powerboat. This yacht has all the features of the popular 70 Sunreef Power, except its 27.8 ft / 8.5 m beam that makes it more convenient for crowded marinas, especially in the Mediterranean. It is also an interesting alternative for traditional motoryachts with much lower fuel consumption, long range, superb living space with the best comfort and intimacy for the owner and his guests, customized interior design and stability.
EWHALA (launch end July)has been commissioned by a European owner, and is laid out in a semi-owner version with two double cabins in the forward section, two double cabins in the starboard hull, and one double, one bunk-bed cabin (for the crew) in the port hull. The interior of the main deck features the galley and a dining area, while a mezzanine floor located in the midship comprises internal helm station and lounge, providing access to the forward guest cabins.
The spacious sun deck, Sunreef’s speciality and trademark, accessible from the cockpit, houses external helm station, wet bar with barbecue, dining area and a huge sun pad, ideal for outdoor lounging in the sun. The innovative JMS boat control system by ZF Marine Electronics Group, allowing the boat to be easily maneuvered with a joystick, has been installed aboard EWHALA. The interior design is modern and minimalist, based on wenge and oak contrast, finished with gray and white upholstery and brushed stainless steel details.

82 Sunreef Double Deck - HOUBARA

The Sunreef 82 DD HOUBARA (launch end July) is the second double decker catamaran after IPHARRA. In this double deck concept there is one spacious owner cabin in the front, and a large and bright salon with an internal helm station with sea views. That is why this model is a perfect alternative to a traditional motoryacht which consumes tremendous amounts of fuel. The Double Deck catamarans have a chance to become superyachts of the future with their comfort on board and low fuel consumption resulting from its low draft and the possibi-
lity of cruising on sails in keeping with the maximum stability at all times. This private yacht accommodates up to 7 guests in one beam-wide owner suite, one VIP queen cabin and one guest twin cabin convertible to a double cabin with an additional Pullman bed, attended by two crew to assist the owner, a sailor himself. An innovative element aboard the Sunreef 82 DD is the smart mezzanine floor housing a coffee table within a lounge area located on the starboard side of the main deck within the dining area. There is also a purpose-built storage area for painting
equipment, as the owners enjoy this activity while sailing. The owner suite, arranged over two floors, is set to occupy the entire forward section of the yacht with a master cabin, Jacuzzi and vanity on the main deck, and wardrobe and floor-to-ceiling storage and bathroom located below decks in port and starboard hulls respectively. Interior design has been customised following the owners’ suggestions, and combines light and natural colours and materials finished in a classic style.

70 Sunreef Power - SKYLARK

Scheduled for launch in August 2012, SKYLARK is the hull nr 8 of the very successful yacht model, the 70 Sunreef Power, introduced in 2008. The yacht is laid out in the owner version with a beam-wide owner suite in the forward section and four double cabins in the hulls: one VIP and two double for the guests and one double for the crew. Beautiful interior design takes its inspiration from the superyacht Sunreef 114 CHE and mixes caramel bamboo wood with pearl gray upholstery, aquamarine table tops and decorative elements such as cushions and wall panels. General ambience is thus very relaxing and enjoyable.

Sunreef 70 - ANINI

Launched in November 2011, ANINI is the 7th unit of the Sunreef 70 Sailing successfully completed by the Sunreef Yachts shipyard. Sold to an American client for private use with some chartering activity, ANINI will spend the coming winter in southern Portugal before starting her Summer 2012 cruise in the Mediterranean, the sea that the owner wishes to explore
as much as possible. ANINI is arranged in the owner layout version with the master suite and one guest cabin in the portside hull and two guest (one with bunk beds) and one crew cabin in the starboard hull. The master suite includes a double bed with night tables, an extendable sofa, work desk, TV and DVD, and plenty of storage for long cruises.
ANINI’s interior design shows clear references to the Sunreef 114 CHE with the choice of caramel bamboo wood applied to all wooden furniture, door and window frames, and decorative ceiling panels. Turquoise sofas and armchairs with wall and ceiling panels complete the bamboo finish in a very natural way, creating a relaxed, marine ambience inside.
