60 SUNREEF POWER LAUNCHED, 3 OTHER UNITS ALREADY SOLD

Amazing success for the 60 Power Sunreef.

We are delighted to announce that the second big launch of the year has just taken place at the Sunreef Yachts shipyard. The 60 Sunreef Power EWHALA has been commissioned by a European owner, and is laid out in a semi-owner version with two double cabins in the forward section, two double cabins in the starboard hull, and one double, one bunk-bed cabin (for the crew) in the port hull. The interior of the main deck features the galley and a dining area, while a mezzanine floor located in the midship comprises internal helm station and lounge, providing access to the forward guest cabins. The spacious sun deck, Sunreef’s speciality and trademark, accessible from the cockpit, houses external helm station, wet bar with barbecue, dining area and a huge sun pad, ideal for outdoor lounging in the sun.

Only a few days after the much anticipated launch of the 60 Sunreef Power, the Sunreef shipyard has received its third order for this new model. The second one was placed, in April, while the hull nr 1 was still under construction. The owners of the hull nr 3 traveled all the way from Central America to see the 60 Sunreef Power EWHALA, during her grand presentation at Hilton Hotel Gdansk on the 18th of August. Delighted with the excellent craftsmanship, they decided to place their yacht order immediately.

A week later, the hull nr 4 was sold to a Mexican client. All three yachts will be launched in 2013. This spectacular success of the 60 Sunreef Power confirms the leadership of the Sunreef brand in the field of luxury catamarans design and construction.

SUNREEF AT THE CANNES INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW - NEW BOATS

Gdansk, Poland – As every year, Sunreef Yachts will display its much-awaited news during the prestigious Cannes Boat Show in September 2012.

Celebrating its 10 years, the company will showcase two new Premiere Models: the 60 Sunreef Power EWHALA and the superyacht Sunreef 82 Double Deck HOUBARA. In addition, two famous and appreciated models: the 70 Sunreef Power SKYLARK (2012) and the Sunreef 70 Sailing ANINI (2011) will be exhibited as well, which means 4 yachts all together. That is the biggest yacht display for Sunreef Yachts in its history.

60 Sunreef Power - EWHALA


The 60 Sunreef Power was made in response to the growing demand for compact yet highly impressive powerboat. This yacht has all the features of the popular 70 Sunreef Power, except its 27.8 ft / 8.5 m beam that makes it more convenient for crowded marinas, especially in the Mediterranean. It is also an interesting alternative for traditional motoryachts with much lower fuel consumption, long range, superb living space with the best comfort and intimacy for the owner and his guests, customized interior design and stability.	EWHALA (launch end July)has been commissioned by a European owner, and is laid out in a semi-owner version with two double cabins in the forward section, two double cabins in the starboard hull, and one double, one bunk-bed cabin (for the crew) in the port hull. The interior of the main deck features the galley and a dining area, while a mezzanine floor located in the midship comprises internal helm station and lounge, providing access to the forward guest cabins. 82 Sunreef Double Deck - HOUBARA


The Sunreef 82 DD HOUBARA (launch end July) is the second double decker catamaran after IPHARRA. In this double deck concept there is one spacious owner cabin in the front, and a large and bright salon with an internal helm station with sea views. That is why this model is a perfect alternative to a traditional motoryacht which consumes tremendous amounts of fuel. The Double Deck catamarans have a chance to become superyachts of the future with their comfort on board and low fuel consumption resulting from its low draft and the possibi-	lity of cruising on sails in keeping with the maximum stability at all times. This private yacht accommodates up to 7 guests in one beam-wide owner suite, one VIP queen cabin and one guest twin cabin convertible to a double cabin with an additional Pullman bed, attended by two crew to assist the owner, a sailor himself. An innovative element aboard the Sunreef 82 DD is the smart mezzanine floor housing a coffee table within a lounge area located on the starboard side of the main deck within the dining area. There is also a purpose-built storage area for painting	equipment, as the owners enjoy this activity while sailing. The owner suite, arranged over two floors, is set to occupy the entire forward section of the yacht with a master cabin, Jacuzzi and vanity on the main deck, and wardrobe and floor-to-ceiling storage and bathroom located below decks in port and starboard hulls respectively. Interior design has been customised following the owners’ suggestions, and combines light and natural colours and materials finished in a classic style.

70 Sunreef Power - SKYLARK

Scheduled for launch in August 2012, SKYLARK is the hull nr 8 of the very successful yacht model, the 70 Sunreef Power, introduced in 2008. The yacht is laid out in the owner version with a beam-wide owner suite in the forward section and four double cabins in the hulls: one VIP and two double for the guests and one double for the crew. Beautiful interior design takes its inspiration from the superyacht Sunreef 114 CHE and mixes caramel bamboo wood with pearl gray upholstery, aquamarine table tops and decorative elements such as cushions and wall panels. General ambience is thus very relaxing and enjoyable.

Sunreef 70 - ANINI


Launched in November 2011, ANINI is the 7th unit of the Sunreef 70 Sailing successfully completed by the Sunreef Yachts shipyard. Sold to an American client for private use with some chartering activity, ANINI will spend the coming winter in southern Portugal before starting her Summer 2012 cruise in the Mediterranean, the sea that the owner wishes to explore	as much as possible. ANINI is arranged in the owner layout version with the master suite and one guest cabin in the portside hull and two guest (one with bunk beds) and one crew cabin in the starboard hull. The master suite includes a double bed with night tables, an extendable sofa, work desk, TV and DVD, and plenty of storage for long cruises.	ANINI’s interior design shows clear references to the Sunreef 114 CHE with the choice of caramel bamboo wood applied to all wooden furniture, door and window frames, and decorative ceiling panels. Turquoise sofas and armchairs with wall and ceiling panels complete the bamboo finish in a very natural way, creating a relaxed, marine ambience inside.

SUNREEF TWO 2012 NEW MODELS - CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS

With the summer approaching, two new yacht models enter the final months of construction before being officially unveiled for the first time at the Cannes International Boat Show 2012.

Sunreef 82

The custom-designed wooden furniture has now been installed within the hulls of the Sunreef 82 Double Deck. The saloon is being fitted with the beautiful Bubinga finish, and the owner cabin located in the lower deck is almost ready, featuring a jardinière and a Jacuzzi. The flybridge is will soon be infused and added to the superstructure. Rudder blades and keels will be added to the hulls next week.

Sunreef 60 power

The production of the 60 Sunreef Power is also advancing well. Most of the furniture is now in place, and both engine rooms are finished and fitted with engines, generators, and water makers. The innovative JMS boat control system by ZF Marine Electronics Group, allowing the boat to be easily maneuvered with a joystick, has been installed. It is a very rare feature on large catamaran yachts, and Sunreef is delighted to apply this system on its new power model. Most of the electrical systems have been installed. The flybridge mould is currently being cut on the CNC machine by in-house engineers. It will be infused in June and assembled with the superstructure immediately

WORKS PROGRESS STEADILY ON TWO NEW MODELS : SUNREEF 60 POWER AND SUNREEF 82 DOUBLE DECK

Commissioned in 2011, two new yacht models are due to be launched in mid-2012.

The hulls of both yachts are currently being prepared for vacuum infusion, scheduled for next week. The moulds of the flybridge will be cut on a CNC milling machine and delivered to the shipyard in the coming days. The infusion of the wet deck for both models is set for mid-February. All interior design has been approved by the owners, and it is now being created at the woodwork and upholstery departments. Both models will be premiered at the Cannes International Boat Show in September 2012.

60 Sunreef Power – New Motor Yacht for 2012 from Sunreef Yachts

The 60 Sunreef Power was made in response to the growing demand for compact yet highly impressive powerboats. This yacht has all the features of the popular 70 Sunreef Power, except its 27.8 ft / 8.5 m beam that makes it more convenient for crowded marinas, especially in the Mediterranean.

The first unit of the 60 Sunreef Power has been commissioned by a European owner, and will be laid out in a semi-owner version with two double cabins in the forward section, two double cabins in the starboard hull, and one double, one bunk-bed cabin in the port hull. All cabins have private bathrooms and abundant storage. The interior of the main deck will feature the galley and a dining area, while a mezzanine floor located in the midship will feature the internal helm station and lounge, providing access to the forward guest cabins and the flybridge. The spacious sun deck, Sunreef’s speciality and trademark, comprises the external helm station, wet bar, dining area and a huge sun pad, ideal for outdoor lounging in the sun. There is also an option to include a Jacuzzi on the flybridge.

The interior design is modern and minimalist, based on wenge and oak contrast, finished with cream and white upholstery and brushed stainless steel details.

The mould is already completed, with the hulls and wet deck made in-house, and the superstructure with flybridge engineered by the Dutch company Nedcam with Styropor / PU-paste system on a CNC milling machine. The hulls and wet deck have been infused with glass/vinyl ester/balsa sandwich using vacuum infusion technology. The next step will be the installation of bulkheads and the addition of the flybridge, scheduled for mid-December.

The first unit is due for launch in late May 2012.

Sunreef Yachts to unveil its first superyacht, the Sunreef 102 Double Deck IPHARRA and other news projects, at the Cannes International Boat Show 2010

Gdansk, Poland –

SUNREEF 102 DOUBLE DECK IPHARRA

Sunreef Yachts is delighted to confirm that this year's edition of the Cannes International Boat Show held from 8 to 13 September 2010 will see the worldwide premiere of the Sunreef 102 Double Deck IPHARRA – the first double deck sailing catamaran in the world. She is also the second biggest sloop rigged catamaran of the world.

The double deck concept was created especially for clients wanting to achieve extreme comfort with maximum space on deck. The characteristic feature of each Sunreef double decker is the additional, full-beam cabin in the front, with the panoramic view to the sea obtained thanks to the mast fitted on the enlarged flybridge.

Commissioned in 2008 and launched in April 2010 IPHARRA, is a luxury a charter superyacht available for charters in the Caribbean this winter. For this purposes, the yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests and 4/5 crew.

According to the Sunreef philosophy, the interior design and layout arrangement have been totally submitted to the owner's suggestions who wished to obtain a practical vessel with many storage places ensuring the highest level of navigation autonomy. The huge outdoor space represents an important area of the yacht. Passengers have a choice of staying in the shade of the 50m2 cockpit or can enjoy sunbathing on the 50m² flybridge and bow nets. In the cockpit, there is a long sofa and table to ensure comfortable alfresco dining and relaxing moments for 10-12 guests. In the evening, a “starry sky” effect will be ensured thanks to the colourful yet discrete LED lights in the ceiling. The fly is supplied with a fully equipped bar and dining area for twelve people along with deck chairs to relax while sunbathing.

70 SUNREEF POWER DAMRAK

DAMRAK was introduced to the world during last year's edition of the show as an example of the 70 Sunreef Power. Launched in 2008, the 70 Sunreef Power is the first motor yacht from the Sunreef power range. The yacht's elegant topside, extended interior and exterior space along with its stability, safety, long cruising range with low fuel consumption maintained makes it an ideal vessel for charters, luxury private holidays or long-term travels around the world. With its totally customized design and finish according to the Client's wishes, this yacht model can be made in Exclusive version featuring a Jacuzzi and second navigation station on the fly, powerful engines, rich and modern interior design, state-of-the-art electronics on board and many other fancy gadgets. For Clients wanting to perform long travels aboard their yachts and discover the world's most remote and wild places, the 70 Sunreef Power can be converted into an Expedition yacht with underwater bulbs, green features such as solar panels or wind generators, without losing anything of its luxurious and customized finish. NEW YACHT MODELS FOR 2011

Sunreef 80 Ultimate – new range of sporty and high-performance cats

In 2010 Sunreef Yachts has introduced a sophisticated design line of ultra-modern and high-performance sailing catamarans with green appliances a magnificent example of which is the Sunreef 80 ULTIMATE. The Sunreef 80 Ultimate carbon fibre yacht has thin and sleek marine hulls with reversed bow and integrated stepped hull chins which is essential for the yacht's high performance. The superstructure will be shorter and more minimalist than on a conventional leisure catamaran which will add to the boat's lightness and streamlined look. The flybridge is an option here as the height of the boat decides on the level of air resistance. Both hulls and entire forward section of the superstructure will be covered by glass panels which will make this vessel luminous and provide the guests with breathtaking and delightful views. An alternative option for the hull are solar panels providing the yacht with natural solar energy that can be connected to the water heating system. Two vertical retractable wind generators will be installed on each hull as well. The mast will be moved back to the middle of the boat which will contributes to achieving the most optimal balance, thus giving the ultimate navigation comfort. The sail plan is adequately calculated to reach the top speeds of 20 + knots. Internal space will depend on the Client's preferences, according to the “custom finish philosophy” at Sunreef. Two options are possible: leaving the saloon as an open, undivided space, or accommodating it with the galley, dinning and lounge. In both scenarios, the owner suite will be located on the main level in the forward section. It will have a stunning, uncovered view over the sea through the vast glass wall and sliding doors giving access to the private outdoor loggia with spa pool, bar and lounge.
