MATAU - A PRIVILEGE 745 CATAMARAN TO CHARTER

MATAU is the third Privilege 745 built by the shipyard in France, after crossing the Atlantic last year she is available to charter in the Caribbean.

The Privilege 745 have been designed by the famous french naval architect Marc Lombard to satisfy both sail and power yachts fan. This luxury catamaran is very roomy and offers a high level of finish in the interior fittings. As usual aboard the Privilege the master Suite is impressive and offers her own jacuzzi tub. MATAU can host 8 guests in 4 double cabins with a crew of 4 Australian experienced sailors. After crossing the Atlantic out of the yard in the Spring 2008 she is now available for charter in the Caribean, from the Virgin Islands down to the Grenadines.

REEF ENCOUNTER - A BIG CATAMARAN TO CHARTER

This is not a luxury private catamaran but really a catamaran to charter like a small cruise ship but very stable. Reef Encounter is available to charter on the Great Barrier Reef. It is a great diving platform with all the confort aboard. Reef Encounter hosts an helipad station, a fun way to board this big cat. I let you enjoy the video.

SHANGANI - 70 FOOT LUXURY CATAMARAN CHARTER IN THAILAND

SHANGANI is a strange looking 70 foot catamaran built for the purpose of chartering by Blue Lagoon Shipyard in Australia and Designed by Colin Aires. It was finished in Phucket Thailand and launched in Decembre by its owner Richard Hayes. SHANGANI can host 16 guest in 6 cabins and if fully loaded with toys. SHANGANI website is really great. "KING'S RANSOM" is the third launched by thesouth African shipyar d. She is the sister ship of "AKASHA" and "ZINGARA". These futuristic designed catamarans have a lot of success in charter. No need to say they have it all and I've been designed for it. The living space is generous, both in and out, with four ensuite guests cabins and a huge owner suite with a 360° view on the sea. The crew have their own separated quarters.

"DOUCE FRANCE" STILL THE LARGEST MEGA CATAMARAN - AVAILABLE FOR CHARTER

I recently added a link to "DOUCE FRANCE" website in the Catamaran Category because I just recently found her website. There are some nice pictures and her charter calendar for the lucky ones interested.

"DOUCE FRANCE" is still the largest luxury catamaran launched so far until "HEMISPHERE" is (which I really hope comes quickly). You can find information about her in the luxury catamaran blog. Just for a reminder "DOUCE FRANCE" was launched in 1998 by Alumarine on VPLP drawings and an Anne Monique Bonadei interior design.

She is actually sailing in the Seychelles area and will be back in the Mediterranean for the summer season. She accomodates 12 guest in 6 staterooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a crew of 8. She looks brand new after having completed a year long refit at the New Zealand Yacht Shipyard where all the systems were checked and changed when needed, and she was painted.

MILES AND DREAMS AROUND THE WORLD ABOARD A SUNREEF 62 OR SUNREEF 97

Discover the Miles and Dreams project. A 5 legs around the world tour aboard MANUAI (SUNREEF 62) or BLU GURU (SUNREEF 70). I think this really is a great idea.

The two catamarans will leave Barcelona after the Boat Show on November 2009.

The trip is divided in five legs, each between 3 to 4 months in duration, which allow you to choose the adventure that better adjusts your needs. The yachts will be crewed by professionnals with lots of experience in sailing. The project was iniated by Javier Visiers, a naval architect, a keen sailors who raced many professional race including 3 Whitbread and circumnavigated aboard a aboard a lagoon 47. Carlos Peris, an experienced sailor with over 10 transatlantic crossings and more than 20 years working as a professional sailor, is the co-founder of the project.

As written in the web site "Miles and Dreams around the world will allow people to enjoy to take part in an adventure that usually requires a much higher investment, and previous sailing experience to make it truly enjoyable and “unforgettable”. You can rent a cabin for the whole circumnavigation or just for a specific leg or legs your are interested in. Both boats will always sail together to ensure all crewmembers and participants a high level of safety and social interaction".
